Has any one taken the Thomson-Prometric master's test for Kansas?
I have had a problem arise where my sponsor told me over the phone that I could take the 05 test and I could still use the old form they had filed out a year ago for me. The test number was one different from 02 to 05 but when I recieved my admission letter, I was signed up for the 02 test. Apparently, my sponsor is not registered to sponsor the 05 test yet, just the 02. My sponsor called T.P. but the person that takes care of this situation at Thomson P. is out of the office until next week. That means that Saturday I will be testing over the 02 test, and if I pass, great if not I can retake again two weeks later without the exam fee.
How much difference is there between the two tests, and if I continue studying the 05 do I stand a chance with the 02?

bwired is correct. Even if you take the 02 test with the 05 book, you'll be fine. I just took the test in KC, Mo 3 weeks ago. You won't have a problem if you know your way around the Code Book. Good Luck!!

I have not been licensed since 1997, and have moved to Mo. The problem is that I can't find a sponsor because there has been such a time lapse. I have a BSEE, was a specialist electrician in the shipyards, and was an electrician in the Navy for 6 years. I have been in management positions since 1997. How do I get included in the private club, when I know the test is a cake walk?
