Someone found continuing trouble with three way switches with three way dimmers at both switches. i do not know what type of dimmer or light but guessing having two dimmmers is changing the signal that is damaging electronic switches?

You cannot dim from both locations of a 3 way unless you use a dimmer such as the Maestro dimmer by Lutron or equivalent. A standard dimmer will not work properly but I have never had trouble with the Maestro. You need a master and slave unit. I believe Lutron also has a standard style dimmer( not decora) that will do the same. They are called Abella.

If you have two "standard" dimmers you will not damage anything you will just have problems getting desired results.

Make sure that you have a system like Dennis mentioned and are using a "master" and "slave" that are compatible with each other, and not a "standard" dimmer and a "slave" or other mis matched combinations.
