At least I'm not asking what would you charge. Customer wants to replace all existing outlets, switches, phone and TV jacks from Ivory to white.

I am interested in knowing how much time you allow to remove and replace the items listed above. Existing wiring has been in place for about 18 yrs. This is a single family dwelling.

I've been looking at between 10 and 15 min. each. There are about 69 openings. I am one of the old guys who likes to use the screw(s) on the device no "quick wire" or "backstabbing".

How old is old? I still agree with 10 to 15 at most.

If you're a screw-terminal man and the existing devices (especially receps) are not pigtailed, you may be looking at additional time & material.

I'd have taken a sample receptacle out, and taken a peek behind it, to see if I'd be using my needlenose to handle the existing wiring. Short conductors affect the time involved considerably.
