I finally did it, i hired my first employee, I told him to find a timecard app for his phone and use it to turn in his hours but the app he chose kinda sucks. any recommendations on timecard apps?

Probably you should have control over how he enters time rather than letting him do his own thing. A lot of basic accounting packages have apps associated with them to handle this kind of stuff. Why don't you check and see if your accounting package has an app.

QB had one at one time. Now things are kind of a pia.

I used HoursTracker when I did service work. If you have to input a lot of text on a phone its worth buying a Bluetooth keyboard, they are cheap and you wont regret it.
