I am looking for a time delay relay to be connected to a light fixture so there is a delay to the light turning off when the switch is turned off.
When I look on the Grainger website I see time delay relays rated up to 240VAC. Can you connect the relay to a 277VAC lighting circuit?

You could always use a relay on the timer output.

If something is rated for 240v that is the maximum voltage; 277V is too high.

You want what is called an Off Delay timer. There are some out there that are rated for up to 600V, but what current rating do you need? Most relays are good for 10, maybe 15A. Beyond that you usually need a contactor and then what you can do is get an Off Delay timer accessory head for a contactor rated for your lighting load.
