It seems in the last 6-12 months the type W cable I've been getting has gone from uncoated copper to tinned copper. Are there any concerns I should have about this? Do I need to use the "coated" resistance column in table 8 now for my voltage drop calculations?

Yes, the coated column in Table 8 is for "tinned" conductors.

There has been much discussion on this Forum about that subject.

Out of curiousity, what is your application for Type W?
