Toaster resistant AC smoke for bedroom near kitchen

Anyone have experience with this? I know that Photo optic is the better one, but recommendations of brand/model would be helpful...

Howzabout moving the toaster or closing the bedroom door?

My kids used to say "Pork chops are done!" when ours went off.

Wife quit using the broiler about the same time I changed the SD so take your pick.

I would install one of these photoelectric/ionization alarms with a HUSH feature. They can be silenced and then automatically reset to normal after 7 minutes.
