I guessed on 6 questions. I had 50/50 choice on 6. I did good on code portion and as long as i didn't misunderstand the motor questions I should be okay. I managed to get a business law review class and a fire alarm review class in before test. They helped alot. The fire alarm test had so many NEC code questions it was crazy. I new 35 of the 50 questions without opening a book. I did check the answers so I better have passsed. How long did it take for you to find out? Should I be worried if a small envelope comes in the mail?

If you looked for it you could probably find the thread from when I was waiting on the mailman for the test results. It'll feel like forever but it shouldn't be more than 3 weeks. I took the exam on April 6th of this year and wasn't until yesterday that I got my license and business permit number. Let me tell you, it's worth the wait.
If you felt confident that you passed the NEC, and you took prep courses for fire alarm and business law, I'm sure you did fine. Long day isn't it?

I still haven't received my permit number and license number yet. The board approved everything, but they sure are dragging their feet. They cashed the check pretty damn quick though.

I called the board this past Monday and arranged to go pick it up in person. I got the number on Tuesday and the certificate and card came in the mail today. I also got the information from the state about getting my inspectors license, hey now!

Down in NC, you know your test score before you leave the testing facility. NJ is still not in the digital age? Wow, sorry guys, I know that waiting for snail mail to find out whether you passed or not is a blood pressure raising experience.
