Does anyone have some comparison about top ten electrical softwares for engineering, namely these ones that I believe are the best ones:

ETAP
Digsilent
PSS Sincal
PSS/E
Neplan
CYME
PSCAD
Easypower
Matlab
EPLAN

It depends on what you are trying to Engineer. I have only heard of ETAP and EasyPower and both are good at the tasks that they do.

We use SKM for short circuit, coord and arc flash calcs, Ampcalc & Cymecap for Neher McGrath calcs

Thanks Ron.

Yes we use also ETAP and Digsilent for power plants and industrial plants. My goal is to have some highlights between them and a possible score.

I am preparing something and checking some use full information in internet.

SKM is new for me.

99% of my modeling is electronics, so PSpice in the main tool I use.
Orcad PSpice is my 'go to' for the hard to solve problems.

There are free spice programs out there, probably the most popular is LTSPice, provided by Linear Technologies, good models for their products but lacking in other aspects.

MatLab is the only one on OP list that I even recognize.

It is tough to evaluate/compare all those listed as some of them aren't even used in the same electrical engineering concentrations. You should do more research yourself and then make groups if you really want to compare and contrast them. For instance, you can't compare MatLab to SKM/EasyPower, they're not even remotely the same thing.
