Does anyone have some comparison about top ten electrical softwares for engineering, namely these ones that I believe are the best ones:

ETAP
Digsilent
PSS Sincal
PSS/E
Neplan
CYME
PSCAD
Easypower
Matlab
EPLAN

It depends on what you are trying to Engineer. I have only heard of ETAP and EasyPower and both are good at the tasks that they do.

We use SKM for short circuit, coord and arc flash calcs, Ampcalc & Cymecap for Neher McGrath calcs

Yes we use also ETAP and Digsilent for power plants and industrial plants. My goal is to have some highlights between them and a possible score.

I am preparing something and checking some use full information in internet.

SKM is new for me.

I only remember Matlab (and how painful it was) from undergrad, but it's nice to see SPICE's progeny are still kicking.
