Does anyone know where I can get a list of default torque speciifications for lugs, conductor terminations , panels, switchgears, or other electrical equipment when specs on equipment is not legible or non existantant? Any help will be very much appreciated.

This article says:

If for some reason the recommended torque is not available on the connector or equipment, there are published tables of ?default? torque values included in National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards and online in manufacturer catalogs. (?Default torque values? are not meant to override manufacturer?s recommended torque values; rather, they are to be used in the absence of manufacturer?s recommended values.) NEC Code-making Panel 1 has recently accepted a proposal to include torque tables in an Annex in the 2011 NEC.

I have not found the values yet.

I have been putting together a book (for lack of a better term) for my employees. Lots of sites on the web, manufactures and standards organizations.

Just surf the web a while
