Trailer Ext Cords

Trailer is just another name for an extension cord. The old NYC electrcial code limited a "trailer" length to 40'. Since most cords were 50' long they were not permitted and therefore the electrician on the job made 40' cords and sold or bartered them to the individual trades. Have you looked up those ITT numbers?
