if there is an existing pad for a trailer with a feeder already coming up through a conduit, what is the proper method to hook up to a new trailer when it arrives

Use whatever method is acceptable by your area AHJ.

I’ve used LBs if the wires long enough. You could splice in a Jbox. IDR using carflex but I don’t know why not if it’s close. Schedule 40 laying on the ground under the home, secured via Stakes and straps.
