we rewired switches, receoticals and checked with the recpt, testers, with 2 yellow lights on the testers. everything worked fine. the inspector sayes it has the same problems. what could he be using, talking about? what testers does he us ?

Most inspectors just use a little plug-in tester but they use the one with the GFCI test function and check to make sure where needed there is GFCI protection.

This is just a wild guess so the best person to ask what the inspector is talking about is the inspector himself.
