I am quite sure Mike Holt doesn't have a school in Egypt. I doubt there would be a whole lot of interest.

I would suggest that you get a code book-- they come out with a revised one every 3 years-- and stay active on this site.

I see you are an engineer so you should have some good basic knowledge but the NEC is a very difficult and complicated text.

What code does Egypt use?

My grandmother was born in Egypt. My other grandparents were from Homs, Syria and Lebanon.

I wish I had learned the language but all I know is a few words.

The IEC is definitely different from the NEC so it will take some getting use to. Good Luck

Well no bigg deal have a few buddies who work for ABB in Trafo site Cairo now in a retrofit on unit 4 north power plant job CEPC we kinda get around a little works slow here in the states .

But its kinda better for you to deal with your own codes in Cairo but if you have some questions with the NEC CODES this is one of the best sites to get a answer from all the rest are just a social club of talk . Happy new year from the USA.
