Hey
I am looking to try to take some training courses to help in career advancement. I finished my apprenticeship about 2 years ago, now I would like to get more training to provide some job security. Is there any area of training you would recommend? The local community college is offering some courses in PLC troubleshooting, this seemed interesting, but i was a little unsure which courses to take (courses are available on A-B SLC 500, ControlLogix and Siemens S7)
 
Take anything, and let it be a resume stuffer! If nothing else a course or two can open other courses next time...
 
In CA, advanced lighting control (motion sensors, photosensors, lighting control panels...) is becoming more, and more important. Soon a certification will be required for certain jobs. Maybe PA will be heading in that direction too?
 
I'm attending pennco tech at the moment and seems to be the right track for me.....If interested look it up and see how you can attaned
