I came across a new transfer sw installation. Coming off the load side of the transfer sw the EC had an emergency panel and an optional stand by panel. Would that be considered a violation. I think the EC should have installed 2 transfer sw's to make this right. Am I wrong?

Wher'es it say a TS can feed only one panel?

I would also say a second transfer switch is required if some of the loads are really emergency loads (like egress lighting).

From the handbook: "If a single generator is used to supply both emergency and nonemergency loads, then multiple transfer switches are required."
