Transfer switch,control conductors,2 hr rating

When are the control (starting contacts) conductors between an emergency transfer switch and the generator required to be 2 hour rated(massachusetts). 695-14-F lists this requirement for Fire Pumps, is this required in Hospitals?

I don't find it in the NEC. Mass. may have a requirement for this, however.
