I'm in the process of installing a Manual Transfer Switch at home, and would like to install the Generator Power Inlet outside. The distance from the Transfer Switch to Power Inlet is about 12 ft. Do I need to install a Disconnecting Means (with reference to the '5 ft. rule') between the Power Inlet and the Transfer Switch?
By the way, the generator is a 7500W unit with a OCPD on it.
