Am I required by code to use a four pole manual transfer switch (in lieu of a three pole) to control a three phase 120/208v lighting panel? I was told the neutrals on the transfer switch should be switched as well as the three phase conductors A,B, and C. This would make it a four pole transfer switch.
I have an 800 amp MDP (with a 200 amp handle) that will feed a 200 amp transfer switch. The transfer switch will feed the designated 200 amp emergency panel. Any code reference will be appreciated.
