We have a small pre-fabricated building that is installed on a steel platform, approx 5' above grade.

Is there any restriction with installing a dry-type transformer (45 KVA) underneath the building (fire, other?). There are no flood concerns, building is elevated for other reasons. Assume we'd keep clearances to ensure adequate ventilation. Building structure is non-combustible.

I believe it is fine. But want to be sure i'm not missing something.

Thanks

I cannot think of any reason it could not be there. Probably need to be type 3r enclosure but other than that I don't see any issue with it.
