Per NEC 110..26 (A) working space per table 110.26 (A)(1) is requied for equipment "likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized". For dry type transformers I'm of the opinion that the required working space per table 110.26 (A) (1) probably doesn't apply. I'm looking for agreement, disagreement other thoughts?

I agree. When I design the layout of an electrical room, I leave room to work around the transformers, but I do not make a special effort to ensure the spacing of 110.26 is available.
