I am installing a single phase transformer that is 480D/240-120. The wiring diagram for the transformer is attached. On page 2, it shows L1 and L2 going to the H1 and H4 taps respectively. On the secondary side, I have X1 and X3 feeding my A and B phases with X2 going to the neutral.

I know in three phase transformers you will have X1, X2, X3, and XO. In this single phase application, can I consider the X2 as same as XO? On my drawing i will label it as X2 instead of XO. Is that acceptable terminology?

Yes to both questions. Don't forget abut grounding that new X-0.

The primary taps are in case you need a little more secondary voltage.

After he re-identifies it, it'll be his new X-0.
I would rather see it reidentified as N.
Equipment has standardized terminal identifications for a reason.

Imagine trying to answer a troubleshooting voltage question when you are told the terminals are X1, X2, and X0.
