Transformer feeder controlled by contactor

Are there any code or UL issues with feeding a transformer with a Thermal-Magnetic molded case breaker and a contactor to control the energazation of the feeder circuit? We have a customer that wished to have remote control open/close to energize the transformer feeder circuit and are trying to avoid using a more expensive Power Circuit Breaker with open/close capability.

I don't believe there are any issues as long at a T-M breaker is used (not instantaneous magnetic only) but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything.

No issues in doing that, except that if it is going to be energized for long periods of time, i.e. weeks / months at a time, I would use a mechanically latched contactor and separate Open / Close commands. Just be careful in selecting the contactor, it needs to have a relevant INDUCTIVE load rating, which will be lower than the RESISTIVE load rating.
