Our team is in charge of running ground from building to transformers. We’re using pvc raceways. Running 2awg from the building ground bars to 75 kv transformers. We use 3/4 metal cable gland connectors to enter the transformer. Some argue we should switch to pvc cgb connectors or have to install bond bushings on the metal connectors. In my case do I need a bond bushing? Or switch to pvc cgb?

Extra bonding is not necessary. The metal connector is already bonded to the transformer as long as you remove paint for a good connection per 250.12 (which can be done by the lockring). Bonding for GECs is really only an issue when running it in a metal raceway.

Perhaps you have a job spec or a local rule that says otherwise, but neither the PVC raceway nor (in my opinion) any type of connector is required by code for a 2awg GEC. I've had inspectors tell me they prefer no connector to a metal connector but I think the code doesn't actually care.
