So I’m swapping out a 75kva transformer for a new one (same exact) and some of the wires aren’t reaching the new terminals. I can run new wire to make it reach but from a code stand point is it okay to use clear taps to extend the wire?

Yes you can splice new conductors onto the ones that are too short to increase their length. Are you using a junction box or inside the transformer itself?

Only thing I know of is where it’s not accessible. I was asking to see if anybody knew if it was okay to do in a transformer (75kva)
I'll have to refresh myself with the wording, but I think it is the wiring in general in a box, even if there is no splice , that must be accessible.

There is no prohibition on splicing in a transformer.
