I am installing a 192kva service and stepping down from 480 primary to 277 secondary. Can I do 320 amp on each leg?

Single phase 277 volts? Often the 480 volt system would be a 480Y/277 volt system. 480 line to line and 277 line to neutral. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

How do you make tiger soup? First catch the tiger.

How do you step down 192kva 480 primary to 277 secondary at 320 amps? First find the transformer.

But really, they do make impedance transformers to do that. Reduces arc flash, you know. But I don't think the numbers work...

might be 192kva/480Vx1.732=231A
I think you type the wrong number 320A instead 230A
