We all know this table has 2 location categories:
- Any location
- Supervised locations only
Further dissection reveals NOTE 1 (the next larger fuse ok) applies to the Any Location category in these two rows:
- not more than 6%
- more than 6% and not more than 10%
however for Supervised Locations (for these categories) you can not size the fuse beyond the calculation.
This seems backwards.
Wouldn't it make more sense that in the Any locations category the larger fuse is not ok, but in Supervised locations only it would be ok to increase?
NEC 1999 and 2002 both show this.
Was there an error made when they built the table based on the old verbage?
