A question came up today--can you install 2 conductors on the secondary of a transformer and then feed separate disconnects? A 75kva 480-240 3p 3w xfmr. #3 to 480 primary. #3 on secondary to a 100A fusible disconnect w/1"EMT--2 times. OR dou you need to exit xfmr with 3/0 (2" emt) to j-box then #3 to each 100A fusible disconnect?
Thanks for your help!
Assume lugs are for two wires and all grounding & bonding is correct.

Re: Transformer Secondary

If they are 25' or less in length, 240.21(C)(6) will permit that application.
3 phase 240, 3 wire is not a real common voltage system. What are you powering?

Re: Transformer Secondary

Thanks for your help. The power co in SEWis supplies 240v 3phase grounded B. We will be duplicating that power sytem. All necessary corrections are being taken to ensure the rotation of the machines are correct and the proper overcurrent devices are in place.
You are correct--this is not a common power system. In other places I have worked we had the red leg delta 3phase 4wire, then the standard 480/277 & 208/120.
