I am trying to size a drive isolation transformer for the purpose of eliminating harmonics to chiller equipment. Right now I have a 480V 3-phase panel that is powering a 460V 3-phase chiller. Should I size the transformer for 480-460 or 480-480? I keep getting mixed answers from others. Thanks.

The 460V rating is what is normally seen on equipment intended for 480V distribution, to allow a bit of voltage drop. In other words a motor nominally rated at 460V is expected to be connected to a supply nominally rated at 480V

So size 480-480 unless you have a specific (and unlikely) instruction otherwise from the equipment manufacturer.

Thanks Jon.
