Transformer to panel ground

We have a transformer connected to the panel by three nipples for a parallel feed. These nipples are maybe 4” Long runnning thread with 4 locknut on each.Does a ground need to go through each nipple from the transformer to the ground? Seems to me these will all be considered a raceway and need a ground my boss seems to think just one.

Yes, each raceway would require a SSBJ. It can be sized according to the conductors within each raceway and Table 250.102(C). Since you have metallic nipples they can be used as the SSBJ without an additional conductor.
