This is a code question. We have a wall mounted 480 volt 10 kva transformer mounted right next to a door opening such that when the door is opened the door hits the transformer. The door is for people to pass through. Is there a code violation here? Is there a code requirement that states a minimum distance between the transformer and the door opening?
