Hi folks. I have 246 volts going to my outdoor A/C unit. The fan motor is rated for 208 - 230 volts and keeps seizing up. I replaced one already.
On the recommendation of a ConEd technician, I purchased an ACME buck/boost transformer #T-1-11684 but don't know how to wire it up.
There are 4 thick wires marked X1, X2, X3, X4 and 4 thinner wires marked H1, H2, H3, H4 coming out of the transformer. I have 2 wires, both hot, coming out of the house.
Which should I connect them to or is this out of my league? The schematic (Fig I) is foreign to me. Ask me to terminate a Cat5 and I'm your man. LOL
Any response is greatly appreciated.
