grass area around transformer is all brown and dead, the area is about 8' diameter around transformer (outside pad mount) for apt bldg with total of 8 apts. possible reasons for burnt (brown and dead) grass?

Is the transformer newlyl installed?

If not, has there been an issue before?

If not, has there been any changes either to the transformer, the building or the property?

no to all of your questions, bldg is about 30 yrs old, I just thought it was odd that all grass around trans was dead. thanks for your reply

My best guess is that it is the time of the year and a different kind of grass was used for over seeding. The grass around the transformer is still dormant.
