Do they make a Single Phase transformer that can be installed for a machine that requires three Phase. In other words, I want to Boost single Phase to three phase for a machine in a commercial building that only has single phase.

Yes, they are called "phase converters". The come in all sizes and ratings - rotary or static. They even have fancy digital ones now days. Contact your supply house or equipment supplier.

At the same time you may want to price and check the possibility of converting the machine to single phase.

A simple machine like a drill press, lath table saw etc can usually have the motor and controls changed for single phase use.

A complicated multi motor machine you will need to get a phase converter as mentioned.

Either way it will get expensive fast.

It has been a while since being in school and was asked the other day about this. is this relegated to buck/boost or is it for all transformers?
