If you have a transformer, 15 KVA or greater, 50ft or more away form the electrical room do you need to have a means of disconect with in site of the transformer?

If you have a transformer, 15 KVA or greater, 50ft or more away form the electrical room do you need to have a means of disconect with in site of the transformer?

No transformer requires a "local" disconnect.

While they do require primary overcurrent protection, there is no requirement as to its placement.
