Transite conduit

All,
I am embarking on a major underground 4kv-12kv upgrade
Much of the existing is Transite conduit
Can the old 4kv cable be pulled out and new 12kv cable be pulled in or is Transite pipe a one time install deal because it’s made of asbestos and will I be contaminated with asbestos during demo and install
Your thoughts?

AFAIK, asbestos products are not considered a problem unless they are 'disturbed' - as in cut or broken AND the dust is inhaled by a human.
