I'm running some flex through a non plenum ceiling (above acoustical grids) when I transition up through the skirt into the RTU when exactly do I transition from flex to seal tight??

Right where seal tight crosses roofline ?

slightly before or slightly after or does it really matter at all? Where does it go from damp location to dry location ????
 
Is this a roof penetration? Normally the penetration would be with RGS and a pitch pocket by the roofers. Transition your flex to the bottom of the RGS in the ceiling then RGS to sealtite out on the roof.

When you go through the skirt are you going directly into the interior of the RTU ?
