Does anyone know what the technical name is for the diamond shaped line spacers on transmission lines? And someone who sells them?

I'm not sure what spacers you mean. Are you referring to the insulators that hold phases off the pole, or the spacers that keep individual wires in a bundled phase from slapping together, or something else?

With electrical deregulation in Pennsylvania, power companies(Allegheny Power) ect. can sell to anyone. They quoted on pole line work and did re -guying poles our also. And in a pinch, will lease xfmrs.

I believe you are referring to spacer dampers. They are designed for 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.lines.They prevent the lines from mechanical damage and suppress low level wind vibration(aeolian vibration) Groups that sell the suspension hardware(Josyln) will also sell these.:)
