Does anyone have shelving in their van for 4' lamps? I am having to stock a large quantity of T8 and T12 lamps for service, and it is very difficult in a service van. Since it is time to replace my current van anyway, I am considering one of the Omnivan boxes, or some shelving in the rear of a cargo van (I don't know how much these Omnivans cost, so I may have to stick with the cargo van). I have searched all the threads dealing with vehicles, vans, and trucks, and I can't find anything concerning lamps.

I used to have an anvil style ata case for 4ft flourescent lamps. Used it to haul around blacklight bulbs back when they were $40 a pop.

I'm not talking about taking them out of the boxes, I'm talking about hauling 20-40 cases at a time. Plus ballast, HID'S, and all the other maintenace parts required.

enclosed, lockable trailer?

i think you'd have trouble getting 40 cases of lamps in a regular 1 ton van,
nevermind anything else.... 5 rows across, 8 rows high.... that'll eat up a
solid block of space between the wheel wells of a van, most of the way up,
4' long....
