We are trying to tie in 2 new hvac units at my work. They both pull about 42 amps each and we have a spare 100A 3phase breaker. Where can I find how or if I am allowed to run TrayCable #2AWG in the drop ceiling? It is the most cost effective method and was recommended by our vendor but most AC in the drop ceiling is Metal Clad cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

all cabling must be plenum rated.

Tray cable in drop ceiling

you will need to have two circuit breakers or run a new sub panel at the AC units off the 100 amp. C/B.
Just run emt thru drop ceiling and #2 and 8ga ground to new sub the feed the AC off two new C/B
