Can tray cable be installed underground in RMC?

TC cable can be installed in a raceway (See 336.10(3)) Where the raceway is installed underground then the TC cable must be resistant to moisture and corrosive agents (See 336.10(8))

336.12(2) prohibits TC cable from being installed outside a raceway system. The OPer mention that the tray cable would be installed in a RMC.

TC cable in underground ducts is actually a pretty popular wiring method in many refineries, where often circuits may run underground to a pipeway and then distribute throughout the process unit in tray. Gotta be careful to check the various "conditions of use" throughout the entire circuit, including the terminals, to determine the ultimate effective circuit ampacity.
