Treehouse afci?

I have an offer to electrify a treehouse. Im fine with the basics except for adding afci protection and possibly supplemental grounding (since its floating in a tree). Im guessing its a secondary dwelling and does have bedroom, kitchen,etc

Any ideas?

Does it have its own service or fed from the main building? Does it have water service?

After you find out if it's permitted come back and tell us what the local building dept classifies it as.
