Trimless LED Downlights

Anyone been installing these mud-in type downlights? I'm looking at something with about a 2½" to 3" aperture. There are many brands of these I've never heard of so I'm guessing that the quality and pricing is all over the place. Anyone have any experience good or bad with a particular brand?

Never heard of them. Gotta link?
 
We have installed 1,000's of them but only higher end ($400+) from reputable manufactures. Lutron, Fusion, Element, etc.
I usually specify they get built with Lutron drivers is that is an option.

I'm guessing you are looking for a more budget friendly option?
 
I wanted to do it in my house, but everything I could find was integral LED, and because I'm using all Philips Hue lamps in my house that wouldn't work for me. Elco, Nora, WAC, and Visual Comfort all make trimless downlights, and for what it's worth I've used products from all those brands without any issue.

Yeah this is for a kitchen eating area in a house so something that high end isn't needed.
 
I have been using Goodlite.A bit pricey but excellent quality. Search their downlight web. Also their HQ are in your state.
