Troubleshooting HPS fixtures

I need some tips on trouble shooting high pressure sodium fixtures. Specifically ones that cycle. This is not something I come across much so I am not familiar. Thanks guys.

Thanks Bob that is great. I probably could have found that myself if I agve it some thought. This internet thing may catch on after all!

If you replace the ballast do not re-use the bulb discard it it?will fail prematurely.
