fire alarm tamper switch and water flow are usually just wired by electrical contractor and not installed by them, correct?

Water flow switches that are physically in the sprinkler piping are installed by the sprinkler fitter. Tamper switches can be installed by either the fitter or the electrician. Some valves already have the tamper switches built in as part of their design.
