TV Commercial Craziness Again

There is a tv commercial currently running locally by Comcast Communications that shows a homeowner drilling into a receptacle outlet with a cordless drill. Sparks and a puff of smoke follows.

I don't know why I allow things I see on tv or hear in the media bother me. It's just so stupid and inappropriate. Half the time, I can't even figure out what the point is that they trying to make. I guess in this commercial, Comcast is advertising that installation is free of charge and performed by professionals so there is no need for the homwowner to do anything themselves.

I'm not a marketing expert, but there has to be a better way of making point.

I hardly belive the installation provided by Comcasts Techs and contractors to be anything near professional.,

It is TV and most of it worthless.

I also like the one Capitol One Credit has right now that shows a barbarian climbing a power pole and striking a transformer with an axe a few times. Again, sparks and smoke follows and apparently the man gets shocked and falls to his death. At least this one is a little funny.

I dunno... I live right smack in the middle of Comcast land and still get calls from people to run TV cable. Apparently they have "special guys" who are "certified" to fish the walls. If you want the regular Comcast installer to run CATV, they run it on the surface on the outside of the house or on the baseboard. It seems you have to get on a list for the wall fishing Comcast guy to come out. I run lots of cable for people who really wished the Comcast guy who came originally would would have done it for them. Whatever... it all pays the same.

What, is there a better way to add cable to a receptacle?

Edit to add: At least they give Geico good material to work with!
