cannot if it is over the tub - 2020 nec has surround requirements for receptacle placements to be outside of 3" of the tub

A little more info.........This particular installation will be in the State of AZ. I believe they are way behind in code cycles so perhaps it would be legal there. Not a good idea IMHO but if it's legal..............

I would think maybe install on the opposite wall adjacent to the tub with an articulating mount...imo so no issues with it being over water. Maybe check with some manufacturers about outdoor rated tv's and see what they say.
