My questions have to do with this design that has TVSS on the emergency side of the transfer switches. Genny feed comes into a gutter that feeds 2 transfer switches. This is where the TVSS will be installed. No TVSS on normal power side.
1) This is not a SDS. Wouldn't a surge cause potentially dangerous currents on POCO's grounded conductor?
2) Why would a gen-set require a TVSS if it has a voltage regulator.
