Twist lock or straight blade?

When installing a 120 volt receptacle on a ceiling, is a straight blade receptacle NEC compliant, or is a twist lock receptacle required?

Straight Blade. All garage door opener's have a standard male cap. If the code says differently Idk.

I agree. I seem to recall there is at least one case where the code requires some kind of locking receptacle but it is not because it is mounted on the ceiling.

680.22 is the section that requires a locking receptacle under very specific conditions.
